The Perfect Wedding Dress

Ladies, don't simply get just any wedding dresses you like! You'll really do yourself a great favor if you choose something that suits your body types instead of something that you just saw love-at-first-sight.

Yes, I know, I am being insensitive, because I'm not a woman.

Ask yourself this, do you wear that super expensive wedding dress to please yourself, your girls... or your man?

Different body figures deserve different types of wedding gowns, and here's some really helpful wedding dress selecting tips you should make use of.

Different types of wedding dresses silhouette

Ball Gown

If you fall into the above categories, but have less-than-full busts, feel free to add flower appliques or fine pleats to balance things out.

Beware: Short women should avoid this silhouette by all means because it makes you look shorter (even with your heels).

Ladies who have a little tummy or have wide and full hips could go for this. The skirt provides a pretty good cover to your voluptuous hips and makes thick waists appear small.

A-line

A-line is also known as the Cinderella dress but I couldn't recall her wearing that. Anyway, if you are in doubt of what to wear, you should most likely go for an A-line wedding gown. Why? Because an A-line suits every body types. So long as you aren't extremely tall or short, super plus size or overly skinny, you should look at least decent in this.

Beware: Well, you'll need a bit of busts (B cup at least) or the A-line narrow cut at the top could make you look "flat". Adding decorations might help depending on the material used for your dress.

Sheath

Apparently a more up-to-date cut that resembles evening gowns, with vertical cut and follow your overall curves much more closely.

If you have tiny frame - go for this! While ball gown and A-line both makes you look shorter, the Sheath actually extends your frame and makes you appear taller. Women with slender figures could pick this to show-off your curves too.

Beware: If you have a bit of extra meat or wide hips, this is a no-no. Your unwelcomed fats will be exposed and big butts make you look wide and short in this dress.

Mermaid

Well, if only I were a bride, I would have picked this. Tailored for women with perfect curves. You could either be slender or a little voluptuous, both would look perfect in this.

The mermaid gown is by far the favorites among men, no kidding. You boy would tell you that you look perfect on every piece, but most men love their brides to show that perfect curves to their friends. That's what friends are for, isn't it.

Beware: When I say perfect, I mean it really... If you have butts/hips too big/small, stay away!
